There was not a single SEO agency in India that used to carry out such illegal practices. Then came a revolutionary change in the form of Google. Tweaking its algorithms and improvising on them, search engines like Google went up to give birth to the idea of Search Engine Optimization.
It was more simple, accurate, and user-friendly. However, the phrase Search Engine Optimization came to the fore in 1997; a year after Google was formed. Before that, the process was nameless.
